Exclamation Search from provided data list and return all instances of given criteria

    Good Evening

I am still trying to learn from provided examples and by searching online but I still have a long way to go.

I have attached a copy of my spread sheet

My desired code would be to be able to either:

    1. select an individual from my data list i have (Cell B1) and then search In the whole of the 'Log In % By Agent' tab for the word Under and when it matches the selected name and the word Under it will return result, if there are lots of results then I would like the log in % in D2 down and the date it occured in Cell E2 down.

    2. If the search cell B1 is blank then I would like to do a blanket search of the of the 'Log In % By Agent' tab and return every single result for everyone that has under against there log in %, For this search I would also like the persons name to appear in cell C2 down as well as all the other data in D2 & E2 previously.

I dont know if it is possible to group the results by name if there are lots of results?

I know this might be a big ask but if this is achievable please can some one help it would be greatley appreciated.

If there is any more info needed or I havent explained myself clearly just ask.

    Dave

    Hello dave1983,

I have added the macro below to the attached workbook. This returns the dates and Log in percentages for the name selected by the drop down. I really wasn't sure what you wanted to do with the Search button. If you can provide an example of the results then I can add that macro also.

    Thanks for the reply.

I was going to have a seperate macro that you can run from the search button that searches for everyone in the 'Log In % By Agent' that matches the criteria under and would return all the results into the 'Log in %' tab as there will be lots of different people ideally I would like it sorted so that all the results are grouped .

    for example:

    Claire Carpenter 71 01/12/12
    Claire Carpenter 70 05/12/12
    Claire Carpenter 68 09/12/12
    Adam Johnson 70 01/12/12
    Adam Johnson 60 15/12/12

I can see that when you change the name the data pulls automatically but i was going to have it so you choose the name then click search and the results come back as they do automatically in your macro, and then if they didnt choose a name they click search and everyone that has under comes back as I mentioned above.
