Hi all - sorry if you have read this in the Excel Beginning Forum, I posted it in the incorrect forum.

I am trying to make a macro in excel that will allow me to graph student reading results (I am a teacher). I can make a pretty simple macro that will graph the results but I am trying to graph results over several grades and over a period of time. I need to allow 70 rows for students but I actually rarely have 70 students in a particular grade so when I graph results the graph looks very strange as there are 30 odd empty columns at the end of my column graph.
Is there a way that I can create a macro that will only graph up to the end of where I actually have data, i.e. if I have 40 students then it will know to graph up to row 40? Because students come and go it would save me having to recreate macros all the time.
