Auto Generate a Unique Identifier

Excel Gurus,

Currently, I have a working UserForm (please see attached) that spits out data onto a worksheet depending on the Year. For example, if user enters 2010, that data will get added to the worksheet titled 2010. What I would like for it to do now is autogenerate a unique identifier on the UserForm so that the user can note it and whenever they need to go back to the data they submitted, they can easily find it with the unique identifier. Is this something that can be done in VBA? If so, can someone please share with me on how to get this done?

I forgot to mention that I would like the unique identifier to start with the Year and then numbers ex: (201000001).

Would it be an option to use the timestamp as a unique identifier?

For example

Format$(Now(), "yyyymmddhhmmss")

would be unique enough?
