    need a quick fix

    Hi Hope somebody can help me.
    Basically in the enclosed excel sheet you will see i have formulas in column (L), as you can see this is a large formula (L3) is the correct formula as i have added extra sums to the original formula as you can see (L4) has only half of the formula. my questions are these;

    would it be possible to write the same procedure formula smaller without having to name each cell etc

    how can i complete all the boxes to follow the formula in (L3) without having to manually type in all the new cells etc in each (L) box, i have tried dragging but it changes up the box numbers so instead of recognizing (b3) as the first cell to count it starts with (B4) and with each new (L5) for example reads (B5) when i need them all to start with (B3) as in (L3)

    Look into the use of the "$" sign. It will hold a static value. So for example if your fomula in cell L3 was "A3*$S$9" and you filled down 1 row, cell L4 would be "B3*$S$9" and so on. I think that this is what you are asking.
