    Copy Paste only Unhidden columns

When you copy and paste something that has been filtered (into a separate tab), excel will only paste the visible cells. I want to do the same thing only with hidden columns, but it is pasting the hidden columns as well as the visible columns. Can anyone think of a workaround for this?
