Searching dates

Hi
I was wondering if anyone can help me with the following.

I want to search an excel worksheet "Sheet1" column A (contains dates formated d/mm/yyyy) for any date that contains the month 'March' or '03' in the month section of the d/mm/yyyy format. Sorry, I cannot supply the file I'm working on since I am modifying a file currently in use that contains confidential information. I do know how to program the search, I simply can't find a format the searches the dates for only a part of their content.
