    Question Format Change Event

    Hi,

I am working on a scenario where I want to run next set of functions/macros only if any Formatting is changed in given Excel Range. Formatting can be a color, cell properties (such as number, date, general etc). Basically I want to know if Formatting is changed or not? So that i can process with next set of actions.

Is it possible to find Format Change (similar to Cell Change or Worksheet Change event) through an Event or any Code? what are the various options available?

    Thanks in advance.

    Raman

there is no event for that. why do you use formatting to trigger code?

    Re: Format Change Event

I am creating a collaborative process by creating an excel template for different users. User 1 is modifer & User 2 is viewer; In my scenario User 1 updates formatting along with Data & Submit it to the server. User 2 views these details on his template. Therefore I want to publish the Excel File/Template (only if Formatting is changed) to the other users; Else other users can simply Refresh the Data from the server on given template (no need to download the excel template again).
But here i had to publish Excel File/Template each time & download the file each time even if there is no change in Formatting.

I hope I am able communicate the scenario well.

    Re: Format Change Event

I suggest you add a button for user1 to manually run the update if the format has changed
