clear listbox1

hi
have been trying to clear listbox1 items , have done this before #[with me.listbox.clear] and[listbox1.clear], have got program that has got these and works but copy it into another one and it does not seem to work however i enter it, any help be good thanks
enter 22 in userform, click search,click clear still in listbox , will be something daft prob
