Need code If x copy Row to New Sheet

    New Tracking - Sheet.xls

    Hello,

I am very new to VBA and know that I need it because an if/then isn't going to work otherwise (I tried).

I have a spreadsheet that tracks data counting if a submission was made and if an input is given/taken away. What I would like to accomplish is to have List sheet where all the data is entered daily, then if certain conditions are met that row is then copied to a particular sheet, and some of it is a "duplicate" copy, I need a copy of unit, if the Desk initials start with letter A – they go to Unit A, Unit C and Unit K respectively (aje would be on sheet a and so on), then I need all of January dates copied to January, Feb to Feb and so on (Through the year).

There is also some conditionally formatting that must be incorporated (and I can do that but it isn't set up)- where if a claim # is repeated it is highlighted in yellow with red bold font.

** I T would be awesome if there was a "warning box" that states a claim number has already been entered and then give the location or date that it was given.

I will eventually add sheets for Pivot tables (can these be updated automatically -new to those too!).....

I am attaching a cleaned copy of the spreadsheet with some dates and desk initials. It does nto have all of the tabs yet there will be 3 desk tabs, and of course the 12 months....

Re: Need code If x copy Row to New Sheet

    Please help?

Not sure if VBA is needed or if I can use the index/match - using XL03 at work, I am not sure how to begin the code either - or what to try - I've seen other threads with similar requests but I don't think they are looking for as much copying as i am - even if someone can point me to another thread that has instructions on how to change the data???
