I Have attached an excel wherein i require a report to be generated which will specify who has taken leaves on which date with its type (i.e. P, PL, CO etc.). this report should be generated in a new sheet. I should be able to select the employee for whom the report wants to be generated.

    DS - (name of employee)

    Dates Type
    02-01-2013 CO
    03-05-2013 PL
    06-12-2013 SL

Just to add up to what i said previously, the report should not contain the leave type "P" which stands for present. The layout of the details sheet may be change to get the specified results.

Re: Extract Leave dates for Employee with its type

    Hi guys,

I am not an expert in macro, but have somehow managed to collate the data i require by recording a macro. But now i am facing another issue, i.e copying the relevant data to another sheet. I have attached the sheet for reference (Could not upload the whole file due to size issues - have copied data on other sheet for your reference)
What i require here is after filtering the table i need to copy the dates to "Report" sheet on Cell C6 and D6 respectively and also the respective type to Cell E6.?
