I've been searching through the threads but have no knowledge of macros/code so haven't been able to piece together what I am looking for. I hope I can explain this properly and am grateful for any help that can be provided.
I have an excel sheet with data in columns A-H and just under 2000 rows.
Column F consists of numbers, ie. 1-700
I need a macro that will scan column F and identify particular numbers - when it does pick up certain numbers, I need it to then scan column D and identify particular text then insert a row below.
For example, the following numbers in column F will be picked up by the macro - 194, 318 and 540.
Then it will scan column D for each of those however, where number 194 may require a row below for having a particular word in column D - for example - "Trips", number 318 may also have the word "Trips" in column D but won't require another row below.
I will need a way for the macro to allow me to make those settings as they changed depending on the number.
Then for those where a new row has been created below, I need for the macro to add the exact same text as the one directly above it for all columns except for in column D where the text will no longer read "Trips" but may say for example "Trips Reduced". Also, in column E, these are numbers also, I need it to add a negative " - '' to the number (currency format).
I've attached an example excel file with a before macro sheet and after to better illustrate what I mean.
