    Lookup Using VB Code

I am trying to get a bit of VB code that looks up a value in another spreadsheet and adds to the details already in the cell replacing the 1

The first spreadsheet is a summary of the second, but users have complained that they have to flick between the two sheets to make sense of the data.

Also in the cells that are not 100% take the actual percentage and add to ref code Example (49827 - 16%) this information is in Time coulum in the summmary spreadsheet.

    Lookup Using VB Code

What I am trying to do is use a referenace number in a cell to look up another spreadsheet which has a piece of data that needs to be prefixed to the reference data in the cell.

The data coulumn in the summary spreadsheet is CQ Time

    Example

    Cell before

    49827-1

    Cell After look up

    49827- 16%

All cells in the range D66-I396 need to updated using the reference number in the cell

Hope this has made it clearer

    Thanks for you help

    Re: Lookup Using VB Code

    Hi,

When you say another 'spreadsheets' are you referring to a completely different Excel workbook or a different sheet in the same workbook.

Either way it will be better for those giving advice if we can see the workbook(s) in question. Please upload it/them and add some sample manually calculated results explaining with a note how the results are calculated with reference to cell addresses / ranges.
