    disable comment arrow connector

    Is there a way this can be done using vb?

    not that I know of. perhaps a data validation message would work instead? (though you lose the comment indicator)

    Bummer. I'm still pretty new to VBA and am not familiar with data validation, do these work just like comments do?

    Is there a way you can change where the connector connects to the cell? Default is the top right, can I change it to the bottom right?

    no you cannot change its properties at all

    dv messages act a little like comments in that they display only when you select the cell. try one and see if its behavior meets your particular needs ;-)

    Thank you for your help. I was able to try out the data validation, but it wont work for my application. It limits you to 5 rows and 250 characters. I guess Ill have to live with what I have.
