    Conditional Formating Help

    Hello,

I am in need of help. I want to apply a conditonal formating to a range of cells when a person opens up a marcro-enabled (private sub, I think) workbook. I tried to record the macro, but that does not work .

    For columns N, P, R, T, V
I need the conditional formatting to fill the cell red if it IS NOT blank (No Blank)

    For columns M, O, Q, S, U
I need the conditonal formatting to fill the cell red if it IS blank (Blank)

There is a way to format this when the worksheet is open correct? Any help on this would be amazing,

    Thank you.

Correct this is exactly how I want it, however I want it to apply as soon as the document opens via VBA. Is this possible?

    Hi johnph,

It does not really matter how the sheet is opened or activated, via vba or not, it will do its thing.
