    If values in a column are equal, then need to calc average of values in other columns

    I'm new at macros, and need help with the following...

    In the attached spreadsheet, please see "Data" tab. Here's what I need to do:

    In column A I have groups of the same values, such as A2 and A3. For the corresponding columns, B thru G, I need to take the averages of rows 2 and 3 for each column. This is shown on the tab "Desired Result".

    Why not use SubTotal Function that was built-in in Excel?
