using macro to check worksheet if data input in another worksheet exist.

Hi there,
noobie here require some help.

i have a worksheet " Stop" range c3, i need to use this data in c3 to check worksheet " view" range A2 ( check only A2:A )onwards till the last, if there is this match.
if it does not match, it will prompt msg" Error" or something like that.

i am not sure if my explaination is clear, anyway if anyone who can help will be appreciated.

i have attached a sample.
i am totally noob in VB so.. pardon me on my code.

see the attached file and open the "stop file" then put the value in "C3" then click on "Check your result" button.
then i think you got your desired answer....

Thanks this is also 1 possible way, however if i need to control using only the ok button at the "Stop" worksheet, instead of additional "Check your result" button.
is it possible.. thanks again for your help

it solve the initial problem, however there are new problem, lol.

at the start sheet, i can input the info and it will capture and transfer to View Sheet.
this can be done countless time. ( which i manage to get it done correctly )
however at stop Sheet, it will only transfer or capture the info to View by check if " Employee Number (Stop) " have been update or not.
if it have been update, it will check next row and transfer the date if it is empty. ( which i am unable to figure it out. )
any help will be appreciated...

a quick info about this marco that i have created is that i need to capture the work order# in column 1, the Employee can start the job and end it with the Qty that they complete.
and they should be able to create the same work order the next day and stop the job with the remaining qty that they complete.
this is the concept for this Marco. as i need to capture the number of minutes taken to complete the job.

actually if there is a ready soultion i would welcome that also.. hehe
