Unhiding sheets in 2013 and 2007

In the attached, the code runs differently in 2007 and 2013. In 2007 Sheet1 remains selected, in 2013 Sheet2 is selected when the macro has run.

    Is this normal?

Furthermore, when run from the VBE Sheet1 remains selected, the issue only happens when the macro is run from a button.

I think this is what is causing issues with the rest of my code, but can't quite figure out why. Selecting Sheet1 after this part runs doesn't help either.

Any suggestions why this is happening?

    Hello tone640,

I have heard and read that Excel 2013 actually sucks! Some hold the same opinion about Excel 2007.

Personally I find Excel 2007 superior to Excel 2003. Don't know, or have or tried any newer versions yet, so I cannot give you my opinion of same.

Please try the attached WorkBook. Just maybe it has the answer to your specific Excel 2013 issue.

Notice that in my Code, I refer to the Sheet as an Object instead of a Sheet.

Hope that helps, as I am going totally "Blind" here. LOL
