Finding Duplicate Serial Numbers in multiple sheets

Hi,

I am trying to create a macro that can help to find duplicate serial numbers in my existing work file consisting of many sheets. and everytime there is a new sheet coming in, i need to compare the sheet against my existing work file with many sheets again.

if duplicates are found, can it be created into a new sheet?

I did some work on a matching macro for a bank reconciliation sheet, but it can be pretty inefficient. Another member here suggested something much more simple.

Why don't you just bring all the existing values (even from different sheets) into one range of cells, then lay your new values to the right of it. Then use a +match(cell you are trying to find,range of existing values,0), then sort to identify any that matched.

Wish I can do that if the merging is easy. My sheets was dated back in 2005. Each sheet consist of 30k lines. Before I can finish by 2006 i have already exceed the max lines. If there are no solution, I will have to vlookup manual over multiplies times.
