    Compare 2 worksheets based on a selected filter

    Hi there, hope you can help, I have had a search around but have yet to find how to do this!

    Edit - Sorry - should have said this has been crossposted as I had no answers from my post on ozgrid - http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/showthread.php?t=173910

    I have been using the code found below for some time and it works well for me.
    However, I would now like to add a filter before I run the comparison code because there are such a large number of entries that the comparison takes too long.

    In the attached file I would like to filter on column C before running the comparison so that I can just check the entries of the same type.
    ie: the data in column C currently has 3 possible types of data - I would like to filter my comparison vba based on one or more of the types found in Column C.

    My proposal would be to have a dropdown of the possible types on sheet3 E1 before I click run the search - would it be possible to select multiple items in the filter as well?

    I have attached my sample file. assessment checks example.xlsm
