    Averageif for dates (variable year)

    hello all,

I am trying to averageif a few values (time1 or time2 in the excel file attached) based on their dates criteria thus getting average values for jan, feb, march and so on

WHAT IF THE year is 2013, instead on 2012 (since only year value will be changing in the formula not the months) can I put a variable cell reference or a Macro ?? If it's a macro then I have no clue lol. Any help in regards to that please.

Why will you use a macro for that.

    It can (easily) done without.
