    Autofill column until next occupied

    Greetings,

I am a new analyst/college graduate in the operations field and I am looking for some help with excel macros. Any help would be very much appreciated.

This project is working with Bill of Materials and the subassemblies needed to make the final product...

Essentially a Level 3 subassembly goes into a Level 2 subassembly left of it and the level 2 subassembly goes into the level 1 subassembly and the level 1 subassembly goes into the top level. Sorry for being redundant.

I posted below what I would like to do with my spreadsheet...

How can I make this work... there are 100+ top levels and I can't spend all day copy and pasting them all...

    Before:

    Before.png

    After:

    After.png

    Thanks!!

If you would like to see the spreadsheet, I can provide that as well...

    Hi James

I wonder if you will complete the Matrix for GF125C-100040 and GF125C-901098 on Sheet2 of your Book.

    jaslake,

Could you explain what you mean by completing the matrix for GF125C-100040 and GF125C-901098?

    Thanks~

    Hi James

In your post #1 you included Before and After pictures. I want to see Before and After in the workbook.

Take your Sheet1 Data for GF125C-100040 and GF125C-901098, copy it to Sheet2 then show me what Sheet2 will look like after the Code is run. I think I see patterns but I can't tell for certain from your pictures.

    Thanks for clarifying.

I incorporated the raw data in the third tab so you can see where I am coming from.

I went down two TOP LEVEL units to give you an example.

    Please see attached.

    Hi James

There's one bit of information missing. What does Sheet Matrix look like AFTER the Code has been run (only for GF125C-100040 and GF125C-930443)...what's the finished product look like? Add a Sheet that looks like your After.png in post #1 for GF125C-100040 and GF125C-930443. I need to see the pattern of Before and After.

    Nevermind...I see it.
