Sorry but I am not following what you're requirement is;

1. introduce a lookup in column B using the value from column A as a search argument
2. column B will show "#N/A" when value from column A is not found on worksheet sheet2

what rows on worksheet sheet1 do you want to hide: the ones with errors showing (key does not exist on sheet2) or the ones where the key does exist on sheet2?
