I have been tasked with constructing and implementing a preventive maintenance system for our North American Operations. I have decided to use excel for this task as I believe it has all of the tools I need to build a reliable system. Currently I have categorized all of our equipment and the PM intervals, to include formulas that notify the end user manually when they review the database. I would like to know if it is at all possible to have the database, send an email of the items coming due for maintenance. I am not at all familiar with VBA or macros but do have a firm understanding of most formulas and logic. might someone be so kind, as to show me how I may accomplish my goal or point me in the right direction. I would have performed a search for this but I really don't know what it is that I am looking for?
