Created an Excel form used simultaniously by multiple users

I am creating forms in Excel 2010 that will be used simultaniously by multiple users. The forms will be used for basic data entry, printed or saved at the end of each day, and opened the following day clean and new. It is important for each user's data to be kept seperate, for this reason I can't use the collaboration option in excel where all users edit the same document. I need for each user to be able to access unique instances of the same form at the same time without locking each other out.

    is this possible?

    Thanks

    Bruce

If the users never need to sync the spreadsheets, simply give each user their own copy of the spreadsheet. Or is there more to it than this?

    Thanks for your responses,

I could give each individual their own form. My concern is that we sometimes have to update or make changes to forms. Giving each person their own forms would multiply the work involved by at least 10 any time an update needed to be made.

Unfortunately google forms is not an option for us. The computers that are being used do not have internet access. They are on the network, but without internet.

The idea currently is that the forms exist on the server and each workstation has a shortcut to all the forms they need.

    Any other ideas?

    thanks!

I'm currently working on this same thing. What we're going to do is save the exact same workbook on each user's desktop. If I need to make an update, I'll just need to make it on 1 form since they're all the same, then go around and re-save on their desktop.

What would happen if you made the workbook read only? I've been thinking about trying this but haven't gotten around to it yet
