Open file, new column, vlookup, copy paste, closed

    hi,

i would like to use a macro to vlookup a few files.
scenerio as below: key header = Part

    1. pegged.xls is the working file. i need to add 2 new columns after last column "Unit", which are "Order LT" at Col G, and "Group" at Col H.

    2. then i will open [Item 28-Jan-2013] to vlookup "Part" and get "Order LT" data from it.

    3. [Item 28-Jan-2013] located at H:\VD\Others\Item 28-Jan-2013.xls , this path keep on adding new file every week, i just want to open the latest one which is current week of Monday date.

    5. [Item 28-Jan-2013] i just need the data from worksheet "UK" only

    6. after that, i will open another file [Itemlist] which located at K:\Item\Itemlist.xls and vlookup "Part" to get "Group" data from it.

    7. [Itemlist] has a few worksheet, i need to vlookup all of the worksheet.

attached with my sample data. hope expert can help out.
this is too time consuming to vlookup everyday from different source.
