Increment and hyperlink function

Hi,
not sure if theis is possible. in the attahced spreadsheet I have column A with a formula in it that increments the number by 1 when a vaule is inpur into column B. Instead of dragging the formula all the way down is there VBA code to do this.

Added to this, there is code in the worksheet to add a hyperlink to this number in column A (which is a file name referencing the number and a .doc or .docx extension) but it doesnt seem to work right because of the formula. (I realise the .docx part of teh worksheet example is wrong)

Appreciate any help, know its a lot....
