Macro to remove ellipses from columns

I need a macro that I can assign to a button so when I click it, it removes any instances of an ellipse, which is 3 consecutive dots, for example "..." and is replaced with a single space.

I need the macro to remove all ellipses from column D and column E and replace each ellipse with a single space. For example, "Please replace...your hardhats." would become "Please replace your hardhats."

I can't figure out how to do it and it seems so easy to write!

It is a single sheet, you do not a code to do this. Highlight columns D and E Use CTRL plus H, type ... and on replace box type . Done!

I understand that and appreciate the input, but we want the code to do it automatically for us when we hit the button to streamline the process because the button does three other functions as well....

I tried the code you gave me and it did not work. Also, I don't need the ellipses to be removed and replaced by a space for every column in the worksheet, just in column D and column E.
