Need a macro that will cycle through a drop down list - copy/paste info to another tab

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry for what might be the worst title ever.

I have a performance evaluation sheet that gives me a total score based on various formulas. (Attachment 1)
    Attachment 214118

Merged cell A3 has a drop down list with our different locations. My goal with your help of course would be for the macro to start at the top of the drop down, copy A3:AI4 and copy it to a tab called "ranks" starting in cell A1. Then move down to the next location on the drop down and paste that into "ranks" starting in A2 and so on down the list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you need a macro for this, or I might not be understanding exactly what you need. If you just want to move the values of A3:A14 (which are horizonally merged, right?) to another tab. And, you want to do this because each row has a different value depending on what you chose within the drop down list. Then all you have to do is:

    1. go to ranks!A1
    2. enter

    3. then press enter.
    4. then highlight ranks!A1
    5. click and hold on that little square in lower right hand corner of the highlighted cell.
    6. While holding, drag that cell down to ranks!A14.

    How does that sound?

    Thanks for the reply.

I wish the answer was that simple, but if I did that the values would change every time I picked another location from the drop box. I want the macro to start at location 1, then paste the info on ranks A1. Then move on to location 2 and paste the info on ranks A2, and so on...
