VBA coding issue - new to writing macros please help with automatically running my macro

i have been trying to get the below code to run automatically whenever a dropdown is selected from column A, but whatever i try it doesnt seem to run by itself. The code i need to run when a change is made is below.

Are you using a validation list, or a combo box on a worksheet?
