Autopopulate other data sheets from a master sheet

Hi,

I am very new to excel programming, my boss wants me to write a macro that will automatically populate other excel sheets from a master sheet. Each sheet has the same number of columns and headings but are saved under different company names. The master sheet is to report all issues and when a company name is entered into the master sheet, the other sheet saved with the company name should be automatically updated.

Any help will be highly appreciated, Thanks.

Welcome to the forum

Please attach a dummy workbook by showing some sample data with expected output for better understanding of your requirement.

To Attach a File:

1. Click on Go Advanced
2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
3. Click the button.
4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
6. This will open a new window File Upload.
7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
10. Close the window and then click Submit.

Hi,

It took forever to upload this file, please find attached a sample worksheet. The open_all_issue is the master sheet while the others are to be populated. I have entered information manually to the other sheets to show what the results should look like. I am hoping to be able to automatically update these other sheets when the master sheet is updated by running a saved macro.
