Good afternoon excel wizard's.
In an attempt to explain my problem, I have uploaded the Spreadsheet as it stands along with the word document I am attempting to populate.
The two green tabs "Nom Roll" and "Jan 13" have data in them to try and highlight what I would like to achieve. I am trying to create a monthly roster which allows the user to enter which days they are available for a duty in a specific month eg. January. When the individual that allocates duties picks a day for a user he inputs the letter of that day and it will change to green, meaning that this has been confirmed.
Once the entire month is populated with a green cell for each day I want to be able to press the Populate Roster (command button) which will open the word document and place the User specific to the assigned day in the spreadsheet into the relevant day/date row in the word document.
Hopefully somebody will be able to decipher what I am trying to achieve. As I am by no means a Vba ninja, (far from it) I am still very much at the beginning of my journey into Vba. I don't know if what I am asking is even possible. At a guess, if it is, the whole process would rely on various code to determine which cell is filled with specific letters/coloring and in which column this sits and to which user in the row it is affiliated.
Any advice, guidance, assistance and so on is most appreciated.
