Printing a set of files from hyperlinks

    Hi there,

We have a collection of floor plans of over 1500 locations that are all PDF's saved in a folder.
We plan visits to these locations and at the moment manually find and print each plan in the order that they are going to be visited.
The order that they will be visited will vary from project to project:
    ie:
    Project 1:
    Day 1: Location 5 / Location 70 / Location 99 / Location 45

    Project 2:
    Day 1: Location 37 / Location 69 / Location 890 / Location 35

On each new project we have the locations due to be visited in an Excel spreasheet. If I had a master spreadsheet with all locations listed and a link to the floor plan for that location, if I did a VLOOKUP to bring the hyperlink through in the visiting order spreadsheet, is there a way that Excel can bulk-open and print the plans for each day?

    Hopefully this is doable!?

    Jenny

This works on my system, you'll need to edit the sAdobeReader path to what it is on your system. Then you'll need to adapt the way the cells with hyperlinks in them are being selected. In my macro, it's taking all the files in column A:

You could opt to SELECT all the cells with the linked files that you want to print, then print based on the selected cells:
