Macro to take column E in excel to a specific Text file, need to overwrite the text file

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to take Column E, less a header row (E1), and have it populate a specific text file (C:\\temp\test.txt). I need the Excel column data to overwrite the data in the text file each time the macro is run. I have looked and cannot find a way to do this. Any help would be great.
