    Excel crashes with macro

I have a spreadsheet with a macro in it that a friend built that for some reason keeps crashing the Office 2010 edition of Excel I have on my PC. I've tried installing the Office from the same installation file on my laptop and the spreadsheet behaves itself so I'm assuming it is a problem with the PC installation and not the macro or some kind of compatibility problem. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem persists, having said that, there are some plugins that I have installed on powerpoint and when I reinstalled, they remained installed so I'm wondering if there are some files not being deleted somewhere during the uninstall that might be causing the issue.

Can anyone suggest a course of action? Where would I find the extra files?

    Hello scorpiousdelectus,

There may be many reasons why this code is failing. To get an answer to this problem more quickly, you should post a copy of your workbook.

    To Post Your Workbook
    1. At the bottom right of the Reply window, Click the button Go Advanced
    2. At the top of the Your Message Window, in the first row of icons, Click the Paperclip icon.
    3. Click the Add Files button at the top right in the dialog box. This displays the File Manager dialog.
    4. Click the Select Files button at the bottom middle of the dialog.
    5. In the new window Find the file you want to upload, select it, and Click Open.
    6. You will now be back in the File Manager dialog. Click the bottom Middle button Upload File.
    7. Wait until the file has completely uploaded before you exit the File Manager dialog.

    File Manger Pic
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

This is the workbook. As I said in the original message, it works fine on my 2010 Office install on my laptop, it also works fine on my partner's 2007 Office install on her laptop. It doesn't work on my 2010 install (exact same installation file, and paid copy) on my PC.

    Hello scorpiousdelectus,

The code does not crash on my machine but I do get numerous #NUM! errors. After reviewing your macro code, I don't see anything that would cause Excel to crash.

    Re: Excel crashes with macro

Leith, I didn't think it was a code problem, I'm assuming its something wrong with the Office installation on my PC. If I uninstall Office, there are still some plugins that remain which mean that there could be something else floating around somewhere. Any thoughts on where these might be located so I could manually delete them?
