they are exactly the same in terms of speed. to speed things up you can turn off screen updating and switch automatic calculation off until the end of the macro.

I tested both down to row 65536 and they ran at 1.15 seconds each. (I did use screen updating off/on however). So my conclusion is that there is no noticeable difference between either method.

You did excellent job for me , & Very well explanation , now I am very happy to get the answer practically,
so From now onward I will use direct formula inside the macro module except RC style as the speed Of running macro is same. Before that I thought there might be speed issue , I thought like this First formula is converted into RC style then run the macro module & for this there might be some delay
