    macro to autohide rows

    Hi,

I have a worksheet where I keep track of parts that have been sent out for repair. When the part is returned from repair, I annotate the date it was returned in column J. I then hide the entire row.

I would like a macro that realizes there is a value in column J (in this case the value is a date such as 2/27/2013) and then autohides the row.

My attempt at recording this macro was pretty bad. It hid my rows but ended up hiding everything down to row 1000.

Just a note, the date value in column J will obviously vary.

    Thanks for any assitance!

    Mike
