Application.Quit does not exit Excel

I am using a macro to save and exit excel with the following code:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

My problem is this is only closing the workbook and does not exit excel. How can I modify this to exit Excel completely?

Assuming that the activeworkbook is the workbook that contains the code, the code stops executing when you close it. Remove the Close statement.
