Macro to cut and paste to different sheet based on a certain cell information

I have a stock list, and basically I want the macro to cut and paste the row into a different sheet (within same the workbook), once there is the word disposed in column "I".

    I am using Excel '07.

Have been trying hard but just cannot understand how to do it.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

    Maybe something like this.

Paste this into the VBA tab corresponding to your first sheet. I've assumed that the target set is the second tab along.

Thanks, though seems not to work, and had been trying to get a button to activate the macro.

But, your assumptions are correct it is from the first sheet to second though called "Chem Log" and "Disposed", did change the destination sheet name.

The module provided by mrice works perfectly for me. I was working on some code when he posted his and it was more efficient so I just put it in my sheet and it works great. I have attached the sheet I made with this post. A couple of issues that might not allow it to run automatically in your sheet are:

    1. "Enable Events" have been set to "False" if a macro only half ran and then got stuck before it reset the "Enable Events" back to "true.

    2. You don't have the code pasted in the code SPECIFICALLY assigned to Sheet1.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks, that was great, still couldn't get it to work with copy and paste macro, so just copied and pasted all my data into your spreadsheet and is working now. It is working much better than i had imagined
I just need to get better at coding macros so can do them myself!

    Thanks again
