Macro to Change a all selected to different spot in the drop down list?

Is there a macro that could change all of my selected cells to a certain selection of a drop down list of the selected cells? --- Meaning all cells selected are drop down lists (the same drop down list) and I want them all to read something else from the list.

I have created a worksheet where I copied a row hundreds of times that contained a drop down list Column B. There are only three options to pick in the drop down list. Now I want to select about 30 of them at once and switch them to the second option in the list or maybe the Third option in the list. Is there a macro that can do this after I select the cells (I have no problem selecting the cells manually, this does not need to be part of the macro)?

If possible this does not even have to be a macro maybe some key stroke combination with the ctrl and shift keys but I have tried and nothing works.

Here is my Data Validation (if it is needed): ='E & L Rate'!$B$3:$D$3

If you have need to manually select cells anyway, then making a macro seems pointless.

    1) Select a single cell and change the value as desired
    2) Copy it
    3) Highlight the range of target cells and press ENTER to update them all

Thanks for the answer. I have tried your steps and it does not work for me. I have even tried to paste once I have the cells selected but that does not work either, the paste is grayed out. It seems only the last cell I select is active with a drop down list the other selected cells look like they are selected but there is no down arrow on the right side indicating the drop down list. Any Help would really be appreciated.
