Sort lists alphabetically??

    Sort lists alphabetically??

    I seem to spend more time on here than my wife lol

    but here goes

    2 columns 1st is staff name second is therir phone number..

    I would like to sort the staff names alphabeticlly without losing the phone number being adjacent to the right name?
    Have googled but no joy.

    lol

    Any ideas?

    select the two columns and then sort by the staff - names -

    what version of excel
    and what problem are you having
    a normal sort using the a-z z-a should sort the full sheet

    hey etaf I have sorted it!

    I sorted it by rows so the numbers remained matched to their owners lol :-))))
