Detecting Pop Up Window in Internet Explorer

    Greetings,

I am using excel to enter user information onto a website and search for data. A new window opens with data that is copied via a dynamic web query. Depending on the user input, it is possible for no data to come and a popup window says "no data can be found". How do I get excel to search for the popup window and quit the routine if it is found?

I have tried using the following in my code:

I am unable to call the private code using my main macro. How do I get the Private Sub to run? In the VBA editor I go into the private sub and click run and it doesn't give me an option to run it. What am I doing wrong? This has been bothering me for days...
