Angry macro for moving an image based on the criteria in a cell from a drop down list

    Hi all.
Heres the thing - I have a complex spreadsheet that need to simply move a jpeg image from one place in the file to another when the data in certain cell changes....
i.e I have a drop down list and when I select x y or z from the list I need it to automatically pull an image from another part of the spreadsheet...the images are named.
I had used the following code but I cant get it to work in my spreadsheet....although it worked in a test sheet:

There's a "1" in your macro title that makes it not operate. There is only ONE Worksheet_Change macro per sheet module, you have to make that one macro do everything for the event type. Take the "1" and continue your testing.

You accidentally stepped on the TWO forum rules in your first post. I've added the code tags AND moved your question to the correct forum. We'd appreciate you taking a couple of minutes and reviewing the Forum Rules we all follow. Thanks.

Always put your code between code tags.
your code here
Re: macro for moving an image based on the criteria in a cell from a drop down list

Thanks but the 1 was a typo - I had already ascertained that the 1 would stop it working. In the absence of the 1 it works in cell A1 in a test worksheet but as soon as I copy the code to the working sheet it just wont work anymore. Any ideas on alternative code I could try or settings that may be stopping it working .... sat for 6 hours yesterday trying variations to the code but nothing worked.

No, We'd have to see your actual macro in yuor actual sheet with an explanation of what is and isn't working. Click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up a desensitized copy of your workbook.
