    Pasteing to a merged cell

    When I attempt to paste to a merged cell I get the error merged cells need to be the same size. any Ideas how I can get around this

    First unmerge the range copy it and re-merge it

    My suggestion is to not merge the cells in the 1st place - merging only causes unnecessary problems, use "merge and center" instead

    These are previously merged cells. The problem I am having is copying to them.
