while opening workbook form.show method is not working

Hi All,

I am trying to show a form in excel open workbook event. it giving runtime-error 400. Application defined or object defined error.

Can anyone suggest me how can i resolve this issue?

Even i am wondering.. why its not working. I have some strange situations.

when i use frmInput.show vbModeless its working but frmInput.show is not working.

One more thing i am getting this error only in excel 2003 that i am using. If try excel 2010 its working perfectly.

Then there's some code in the UserForm_Initialize event, or a procedure called by it, that is not compatible with XL 2003.

Posting an image is pointless, it gives no more information that what you've already stated in your post. Posting a workbook that displays the issue would be a lot more helpful

Hi cytop,

i am sorry for late response.. i was away from system from last two days. I just tried by commenting all the statements in UserForm_Initialize event. still i am getting the same error. I am just thinking whether is there any problem with the excel application that i am using. Actually i am running Excel 2003 from XP Mode.
