Macro script hangs on start in Windows 8

I have a VB script in a spread sheet that does some fairly simple financial calculations. It works fine on my WinXP, Vista, and Windows 7 32/64 laptops. I just bought a Dell Inspiron running W8. I copied the Excel file over to the W8 machine as I've done on all the others.

I start the script with a command button. On the W8 machine, Excel hangs and becomes unresponsive as soon as I click on the command button. The security settings on this PC are the same as the others as near as I can tell. I'm stumped, any ideas?

    Thanks, DrJoGora

I'm on Windows 8 and I've not had any trouble with code.

Are you on 32-bit or 64-bit?

Does the code use any Windows API calls?

    Can you post the code?
