I am doing a stock list for electronic components and I would like to have a search facility where I insert the coponent value ond then then an automatic search takes place. There are several worksheets so a single search facility would be most advantages. I am going to have an index page so possibly the search could be on the index page. It would be nice if it returned the fact if the coponent was a stock item in stock and how many.

Any assistance in achieving this would be most welcome. In order to learn how to do this it would be best if the process to be followed was outlined and then if I get stuck in a particular area I can always ask for help
