Changing text color using vlookup: conditional formatting or VB?

Want I want to do seems simple, but appear to not be so simple. In my list, I want some of the selected items to appear in a different color (red). Please see the attached file. The calculator is in the tab "Double_Hung Average" in which I want the items that appear in the "Lookup_Table" as displayed in red to be displayed in red.

Since I'm a bit new to this, I'm not sure about how to to apply conditional formatting versus using VB. Some assistance would be very much appreciated. I'm a bit lost at how to proceed. Thanks so much!!!sample_calculator.xls

    1. Added a fifth column and placed an R in red rows ( you can hide the column or change its font to white to hide the r's).
    2. Added Named Range: AverageDoubleHung and replaced the cell addresses in the lookup formulas.
    3. CF formula: =VLOOKUP($D7,AverageDoubleHung,5,FALSE)="R"
