Comparing multiple cells and giving a summary report

I'm trying to figure out how to write this code. But the issue I have is, I consolidate all the files into one worksheet. Then I need to two different cells and compare them to see if they are equal or if they are not. If they are not I want it to count the cell and add it to a total in the summary.
Ex. Cell A: DN_111 compaired to Cell G: DN_112, DN_113, DN_114 but before it counts checks Cell H: DN_111. But after it counts I also want to be able to take every single one that is counted and display Cell C which will have various numbers & text. I know this should be a if then statement but I need help with writing this code. If anyone can please help, thanks in advance.

    Example.xlsm

Here is a copy of what I'm trying to do. I'm not sure exactly how to accomplish this task. But I believe the easiest way is from the report sheet and have it update the summary sheet. Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: Comparing multiple cells and giving a summary report

Basically I want the summary page to show by the drop down box by the DN_### to show me the number of QECS not applied and then under it deliver a specific report for each DN_### selected displaying the document number along with the type QECS/EOCS that is missing.

It's not clear to me, what you're trying to achieve (how the result should look like).

Re: Comparing multiple cells and giving a summary report

In my "summary" sheet I want it to list out the # of QECS not applied to the certain DN_112 or DN_113 or DN_114.
Then if I select a certain DN_112 I want it to report which QECS Document number is missing from the DN_112.

Why not visual show the desired (expected) result in a file, instead of explaining it with text.
