Question Copy rows containing in column A specific word

    Hi all proffesionals,
I would like you to help me with this vision of mine how to generate "Result file" with just one click

    Source_file.xls
I have 1 source file containing queries. Every query in column A have "Yes" or "No" and rest of columns are filled with data.

    Result_file.xls
I am always copying manualy the rows containing "Yes" to another "result.xls" file. In the result file the copied data are starting at A7 Cell (can start from the first blank Ax cell). One more thing, i copy from source file only rows from B column to I column.

Here i would like you to help me out. It would be great if i can "play" the macro to do this for me.

    Thank you very much

    Pavel

Do you want the copy paste to happen each time Yes is entered in the sheet in the source file? Or will you enter the values in all the rows and then click a button to trigger the copy paste?

Also, once the row has been copied, do you want it to be cleared from the source file?

Re: Copy rows containing in column A specific word

    Hi,

    - i d like to click button to trigger the copy paste
    - as you are asking about the clearing the source... i think it can be a good point. But the best will be if only rows with column "no" will be pasted and cleared from source file to "temp.xls" file for example. But "yes" i d like to keep. It cannot be programmed the purpose of those "yes", when they will be cleared

    Thank you for interests

So on the button click, all the "yes" from source_file will be copied to result_file. All the "no" would be copied to "temp.xls" and then the source_file sheet will be cleared leaving only the headers?

    nope, almost

I use your sentence... with little correction at end

"So on the button click, all the "yes" from source_file will be copied to result_file. All the "no" would be copied to "temp.xls" and then the source_file sheet will be cleared from rows with column A "no" and leaving only the headers
    "

and i am copying those "yes" to something like template, so let the copied data be there starting A7 Column
