Joining Columns one below the other

Imagine I have some columns of data. How can I stack multiple columns on below the other in column A?

For example, A column is blank now. B,C,D have some data.

    A B C D
    1 ab gh ij
    2 cd kl
    3 ef
    4

Can all the columns be stacked in the empty column A?

    A
    1 ab
    2 cd
    3 ef
    4 gh
    5 ij
    6 kl
    7

Please help me with this. Thank you!

Is there a reason why you can't just cut and paste?

Ah, I should have clarified that. This is only an example, Frasterist. I have 8300 columns of data.

    Hi

Assumes that your data starts in row 1, and every column will always have an entry in row 1.

    Hi Rylo,

    A quick follow-up question.
Because of the huge file, excel crashes if I run the code for all 8000 lines.
So, what variable do I change so that it can copy a 1000 columns per execution?

    Cheers,
    Harsh.

Hi there does this exclude duplicates if occur?
I mean if Column B has an entry exists in Column C, would it apear?
If Yes how not to have duplicates in the result column

    Thanks
